Vader stayed silent. There were so many things he wanted to say, as he sat there, in the old dingy diner he once spent so much time at, with a man who had fought side by side with him, he felt like a stranger, an outsider looking in. Which was fitting, Darth Vader peering into the remains of Anakin Skywalker’s life. It was unfair to Rex, to not know who he was talking to, the last remnants of his general, the Sith who killed his friend. Perhaps it wasn't fair, but he wasn't a fair man anymore.
