Summary
The only thing this series has in common with the real Savage Starlight is the title of the works :) Follows Joel and Ellie from the "okay" at the end of the game to the start of their romance... and beyond. Please note I have the series marked as complete because I have no plans at this time to write a Part 4, but I may revisit it someday!
So, yeah... this series is Joel/Ellie AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAST OF US PART 2 -- which means it's now AU. I may not even play that game (and the only trailer I've seen is the very first teaser from 2016). I at least won't be playing it until after I'm done writing the third installment, because I don't want to be influenced by it. Plus, I know I would struggle with trying to incorporate elements of the new canon into this world which is no longer canon-friendly :( ETA: I have just completed the third part of the series and still do not want to play the game because now I know the major plot elements and... yeah, I can't handle that.
One last note: yes, I know in canon Ellie is a lesbian. Please don't bother to leave comments, especially nasty ones, telling me this. In this series, she is bi. "Don't like, don't read" applies here. Thank you!
