Summary
A world where angels are common only scratches the surface of this story. Privileged people are able to own one, control one; angels are enslaved and pushed to their limits. After ten years this is normal, at least until Dean is given a freshly caught angel for his 18th birthday. Training Castiel to be 'normal' isn't quite what Dean had expected. The struggle to open people's eyes to the equality that angels deserve is one shared between Dean and his brother. Though they take different approaches to getting there, they have the same goal in mind and each path ends up relying on the other more than anticipated.
