"They had come in the night, following sightings and his badly hidden paper trail of employers to the hunched figure hidden on a rooftop. His heightened senses, foggy from exhaustion and lack of food, gave him too little warning before a needle poke muddled his brain, and the figures stood above him were replaced with darkness.
Screaming and thrashing as he was dragged down plain hallways was replaced by hesitant walking. No point resisting, he’d learned, better to bet his time and find a way out. I just need to wait for an opening, turned to, someone will come for me.
But then he began to forget what was outside of the concrete walls of the base. Strapped to the electroshock chair, he forgot what he was angry about, forgot what he was fighting against, and forgot who he was."

I've been in this fandom for years now, and I've never found a fic telling the marauders story quite how I've always imagined it, so why not write my own.
A fanfic based off what we know of the canon, with my own headcanons thrown in, following the Marauders through their years at Hogwarts, and to the bitter end. (Eventual Wolfstar, Jily, and Dorlene) -
