In the past, a plethora of others complained about the rough texture of Kokichi’s tongue. They’d found it vexing and scratchy at best and painful at worst. However, Kokichi had figured darting his tongue just barely along the inside of Shuichi’s wrist would be enough to get a fun reaction out of him. He was anticipating Shuichi to yelp in surprise and yank the other away by the scruff of his neck. Instead, Shuichi had only whimpered just loud enough for Kokichi to hear and stare at him, ironically surprising himself. Shuichi’s eyes were lowered and cheeks dusting pink and it had absolutely nothing to do with being vexed.
