Summary
Pro Hero Ground Zero is asked to join a special operation which fights against a particular human trafficking ring. His specific orders? Blend into their clientele and find a way to their bosses and whoever produces the weird golden chains that bind the victims to the highest bidder via a quirk. If he can find out who the mole in the Hero Organisation is, he'll maybe get a raise on top.
Midoriya Izuku went missing four years ago.
These two things are related, but come full circle when Katsuki and Izuku end up bound together. Neither of them really mind, which is probably a good thing considering they are stuck like this for the forseeable future and the sake of Katsuki's cover.
Izuku tries his best to catch up to a life that has left him behind by now.
Katsuki wants nothing more than to help, even if it's four years too late and he's not sure how.

He isn’t sure if that’s the word he’d assign to the other. Katsuki is like a glowing firecracker: bright, breathtaking, and quick to snap. Although, Izuku considers, he can be cute sometimes. Like every morning, when he tosses Izuku’s bento box into his face. Like when he rolls over into Izuku’s space on the bed and knees him in the stomach. Like how the space between his brows gets wrinkled whenever he gets absorbed into one of Izuku’s “shitty chick flicks,” creasing further in defiance when he’s caught.
(or: post-graduation, izuku struggles to cope with change. a reencounter, a roommate arrangement, and things become a bit more complicated—as always with bakugou katsuki involved)

When a pair of heavy combat boots thump onto the asphalt in front of him, he’s almost certain it has to be an exhaustion-induced hallucination. Standing mere feet away from Katsuki is a mirror image of himself. Taller, older maybe, and different in many ways—but the same face, the same scowl, the same scars, the same sharp red eyes.
“What are you, a shitty cosplayer?” the knock-off Dynamight asks, voice huskier than his own.
It’s so bizarre that Katsuki has to shake his head in the hopes it’ll dispel the mirage. It doesn’t.
“Funny,” he replies with a deadly glower, holding the unconscious girl tighter in his arms, “I was about to ask you the damn same thing.”

Katsuki is the number three Pro Hero who deals with citywide emergencies on the regular, but it’s this self-sacrificial reckless little asshole that constantly has him flirting with another heart attack. Cardiac rehab kicked his ass for two years, and it still never covered how to deal with Deku.
“Dynamight-san,” Izuku says slowly, "I uh, didn't call anyone in."
"Yeah. I noticed."

Before anyone can move, an explosion is set off right next to Kouta’s head. He ducks, rolls, and then whips a hand out to pour water over the leftover flames.
“Okay, what the actual fuck is wrong with Deku-sensei?!” he hears Ueda shout from somewhere behind him.
He looks up, curious, only to be met with another explosion, this time directly in front of him.
“Shit! Shit, shit, shit, that’s fucking Dynamight!”
