It could never have replicated the deep gray of his eyes, storm-like as they’ve always been, the current downturn of his mouth, the wrinkles between his eyebrows. Lan Zhan’s eyes are inescapably drawn to the smoothness of his cheeks, the plumpness of his lips, the brightness of his eyes.
