Summary
It is difficult to understand a person like Viktor. He is the smartest person Jayce knows, that's for certain, but it's difficult to say anything for certain beyond that. He's proud of his work, but he outright rejects any opportunities to brag about his work at galas. He's cold and sharp when he interacts with people, but he makes time to think about every child in the Undercity. He's mesmerizing, but he's also the guy who will whack Jayce in the shins if Jayce makes one more wrong remark about an equation. Jayce can't help but fall for him.
(A collection of moments where Jayce learned more about Viktor as a person. It is hard not to observe someone as unique as Viktor; it is harder not to fall in love with him.)

“Must’ve been tired this morning,” Suguru says aloud, voice quiet enough that Satoru almost misses it. His feet walk along the cool hard-wood flooring, his socks muffling any potentially loud sound. He pauses in front of the couch and Satoru has to force himself to breathe, not wanting to blow his cover. But nothing happens…
What…?
Nothing happens…
Satoru shuffles and brings his knees close to his chest, wondering if maybe he has just been imagining everything this past week.
“Oh Satoru…” Suguru sighs and Satoru slumps into the couch, grunting softly, about to admit defeat that Suguru is going to leave him here to freeze on the lumpy couch. He tries to look as pathetic as possible, letting his neck rest uncomfortably on the couch cushion, a petulant frown twisting his face, shoulders curling in on himself.
It doesn’t take much to look uncomfortable because Satoru is every bit that he looks.
OR
Satoru has insomnia and makes it everyone else's problem.

Summary
In the wake of the post-zombie apocalypse, Raiden runs a literal hole-in-the-wall cafe. He offers two drinks—green tea, and black coffee. Everyone takes the former, regulars that Raiden talk to on the other side of the wall. It's calm, mundane, and a nice way for Raiden to start recovering from the zombie apocalypse, but he's yet to meet anyone that can help with his loneliness.
Then one day, on the other side of the wall, someone orders a black coffee, and Raiden finds that maybe, just maybe, this customer can break him free of his shell.
