Summary
This was written for the Johnlock Gift Exchange put on by johnlockchallenges on tumblr. It's a gift for splendidsparklingfire and the prompt was "breathless in an alleyway". I combined this with an idea I've had in my 'to do' list for while.
In this story, Lestrade tells John about something he'd once discovered in Sherlock's flat during a drug bust. That little bit of knowledge rocks John's world.

He comes up with an experiment plan that will resolve the issue. The results will determine who wins the prize. But sometimes even the best thought-out scientific study has unexpected consequences.

John has no idea what to say to that. He kisses Sherlock instead, dips his fingers just under the waistband of pyjama bottoms, begins tugging them down.

John comes home one day to find Sherlock crouched on the floor amidst a series of photographs of a dead body. That part's normal. The next part's not. Because then, Sherlock, who's too busy rearranging the photographs to look up, says, "I need a semen sample."
