“I never realized how beautiful this place was,” Sunghoon said, almost as if speaking to himself. “You know, I come by almost every day. I’ve seen this river a hundred times as I pass by, but it’s like... I can only really see its beauty when I’m with you.”
Sunoo turned to him, his expression curious and soft, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
“Strange, right?” Sunghoon continued, eyes drifting over the shimmering water, everything feeling different now that Sunoo was beside him.
“Strange indeed,” Sunoo whispered, his eyes filled with emotion.
“Well,” Sunghoon said, his voice dropping to a gentle murmur as he looked at Sunoo, “maybe it’s not the place that’s beautiful after all. Maybe... maybe it’s you.”
