“It was uncomfortable, walking through the streets of Gotham barefoot and without any adequate clothing. Well, at least he had a shirt and shorts, even if the frigid air stabbed right through him, like tiny daggers across his exposed skin. It was better than nothing, but Tim had little idea why he was wearing it. After all, Tim was smarter than that, he knew better….So why put that on and go outside? Trying to think back was… Weird. It felt hazy, as if surrounded by mist. Like all his memories were far away, like shadows suspended on dust. Tim doesn’t think he came up with that saying.“

Summary
Tim enjoyed being Robin because it meant he got to help Gotham's hero, Batman, recover from the tragic loss of his son. However, as time goes on and Jason comes back to Gotham's fold, Tim begins to see his role as Robin differently. Robin starts to mean more to Tim than he ever thought or expected it would. Tim latches onto his role of Robin as the only thing left holding his life together. So, what would happen if Tim were worried that he might lose that role?
There are a lot of things he could do if he put his mind to it, but what he chooses to do is confront the problem directly. Unintentionally leading himself into a new danger that will end up changing Tim's life in more ways than one.
IMPORTANT: Do not read this if you are sensitive to subjects of sexual assault. A portion of this will go over his assault and it will be mentioned at multiple points after the event happens.
