Summary
As per request. On June 6, 2016, shortly after his detail had been pulled, Rafael Barba was raped. His lover, Sonny Carisi, had been called into work earlier that evening, and therefore wasn't home when the assault took place. Rafael was physically, psychologically, and emotionally traumatized, and took years to recover. His story is told throughout the other fics in this series. This story, though, is about the man who was first cast aside, then pulled in tightly, and walked every step of that journey with him.
