A second chance, to be sure.
A fall from grace into an entirely different world and history has Viktor stumbling over his feet to try and find his way in a world that worked out so differently to his own. But Jayce is there to catch him wherever they find each other. In Piltover or Zaun, they have a second chance and Viktor will hold it as tight as he possibly can.

Summary
After being joined and sucked into the hexcore anomaly, Viktor and Jayce wake up in a different universe, in their normal, human bodies. Having now to face an entirely new life while still weighed and changed by the errors and violence of the recent past, they have to learn to work together again, even if, for that, they also need to confront the new and old feelings that have brought them together and cast them apart. Viktor loves Jayce; Jayce loves Viktor, but it is not as simple as that. But it could be. It's a new page, after all.

He listened, head moving from rock to shoulder, letting Viktor move them to a comfortable position on the soft ground beneath them. They had to stay close, the heat of their bodies radiating against each other to fight away the cold. Jayce knew this, yet he also knew that even if they were in the blistering heat, fighting bleary exhaustion and sweat seeping bodies, he would still find his way there. Next to him.
___After the explosion, Jayce and Viktor don't find themselves dead, but somewhere else entirely. They have to fight to get themselves home, wherever that is, and in the midst of it all, realize what's been growing between them this whole time.
