Summary
According to Reki, Langa is just a night owl. At nighttime, he’s not weighed down by any of the lethargy he woke up with in the morning. After all, Langa won his first beef at S long past midnight, but it took months of flailing around the skatepark until sundown before he finally nailed his technique.
Langa doubts that most people would put the pieces together on their own, anyway. It would take a very close eye to see the truth. His sensitivity to sunlight, poor heat tolerance, increased alertness at night, and strong reactions to blood are all signs that point to the same conclusion:
Langa isn’t a night owl at all.
He’s just a vampire.
AKA the night when Reki's perfectly human best friend became his vampire boyfriend instead.
