Summary
This idea popped into my head a couple of weeks ago and wouldn't leave me alone! So I decided I had to try my hand at writing it.
Claire is the new prison doctor at HMP Ardsmuir where Jamie is a serving prisoner. He comes into her surgery one afternoon with a dislocated shoulder (sound familiar?! S1 E1). Their chemistry is instant and undeniable. Much smut ensues. Like seriously, So. Much. Smut.

Claire Beauchamp is a botanist and a well-known horticulturist, living in Boston and is coming out of an 8-year long relationship with Frank Randall. After years of psychological and emotional abuse, both from her parents and Frank, she is finally ready to break free and relocate her business and entire life to Scotland. She rents a rundown house on a property called Lallybroch after falling in love with the house in one of the pictures her Scottish friend Geillis Duncan sent her.
Jamie Fraser is a very respected and influential whisky manufacturer of the Highlands, somewhat old-fashioned in his beliefs and way of life. He also came out of a difficult relationship, left with a foster son Fergus.
After a rainy night, leaking roof and freezing cold shower, Claire meets Jamie Fraser, whom she mistakes for a plumber. Jamie falls for her instantly and Claire needs more time to heal, although is tormented by the strong attraction she instantly feels for Jamie. Just as she starts to open up and they have a short but intense romance, her past pulls her back and she leaves...
