Inspired by darkfire1220’s story “Ankle-Biter”
Something that adults have yet to learn is that kids are always listening when they least expect it. So, when asked by an older boy to take things over to his place, it was only natural Jinx would say yes. After all, what good scientist passes up an opportunity to extend their knowledge?
The thing is, the 13-year-old never would have predicted this outcome. Now Jinx must figure out how to balance doing jobs for Silco, working on her inventions, keeping the ghosts of her past at bay, and raising a whole-ass person from scratch.
(aka I can’t stop thinking about Jinx being Isha’s bio mom, and how that would change her entire character arc in Arcane)

Jinx thought that after having gone through three fathers and one mother that she would know how to look after the kid. Turns out, however, losing parents does not equivalate to being able to take care of children.
But hey, she was trying. So, as she followed her sister-turned-bluebelly through Zaun she was able to get started on a list of things a kid needed.
And thus, Jinx’ failproof professional guide to (parenting) babysitting was born.

#5Isha liked Jinx’s hair.
#6Don’t call kids mean names.
#7Don’t slap kids in the face.
#8Don’t abandon said kid to fuck your pig girlfriend.Ok, so maybe it was more of a checklist and maybe the last three were Jinx projecting a little bit, but her knowledge of raising an ankle biter was limited to faint memories of her mom, an ex-revolutionist, and a crime lord.
But hey! If Silco and Vander could raise Jinx how hard could babysitting Isha it be?
