Father Aziraphale Fell is a haunted priest who has kindled a tentative friendship that's mingled with longing with landscape designer and gardener Anthony Crowley, who has been tending to his church’s neglected gardens.
When the tantalizing gardener offhandedly mentions that his career isn’t exactly fruitful, Aziraphale offers to help him. Crowley, in response, jokingly mentions the concept of ‘sugaring’ to the priest, assuming he’d have no idea what he meant, but Aziraphale is full of many, many surprises.
