Summary
Robin's face crumples, hot and salty tears sliding down her face. It isn't long before she lets out a loud sob.
A crash comes from the kitchen, metal on metal on the floor. There's a frantic scrambling and a panicked Steve bursts into the room, his hair messed up and cheeks flushed.
He rushes over to Robin, practically diving onto the bed to reach her quicker. He cups her face in his hands, wiping away the tears. "Robbie, what's wrong?"
Robin lets out more loud sobs, blubbering pitifully. "Rob, what's wrong? You're scaring me here." Steve continues to clean the everlasting tears flowing from her face, cooing at her and trying to get his best friend to calm down.
After a few more minutes of crying heavily, Robin manages to speak up.
"Dave left me."
"...Who the fuck is Dave?!"

“what?” leo moves back a little so he can look jason in the eye. jason doesn’t like being looked in the eye except when it’s leo. “you don’t want me to what?”
“die,” jason says, his voice small as can be. “i don’t want you to die.”
leo’s face is unreadable. “oh,” he says quietly after a long hesitation. he pulls away from jason and sits up. that makes jason nervous. “i don’t want me to die either. i don’t think.”

Jason felt his smile turn a bit wolfish, and he nipped the underside of Leo’s jaw. “You’re pretty when you look like that.”
Jason could practically hear his eye roll. “You always say that.”
“Well, you always look really pretty.”
Leo hummed happily and pressed a kiss to Jason’s hairline. In response, Jason made a rumbling sound from the depths of his chest and pressed in just a bit closer. They laid like that for so long that Jason lost track of the time. It could have been a thousand lifetimes, it could have been only a few seconds. All he knew was the warmth of Leo’s skin pressed against his, the still, humid air of their bedroom, and the quiet sounds of contentment that came from them both.
