Summary
Yasmin Khan has ambition and a need to prove herself. She hopes her promotion to the Division, a specialised corps of Gallifrey's army dealing with confidential missions, will be her big break. However, she is conflicted on her first day when she is introduced to the Division's leader, Captain Thete Rassilon.
Rarely seen outside the State Palace, Thete has been kept from the public eye by her mother, Lord President Tecteun, for she possesses a secret. A secret on which the future of Gallifrey rests. Leading the Division is a chance for her to prove herself, but other pressures rest on her, and she must not disappoint her mother.
Brought together through duty, Yaz and Thete's loyalty to Gallifrey will be tested as new feelings, new threats, and new truths reveal themselves. With secrets and conspiracy abound and the future of Gallifrey threatened, can Yaz and Thete survive the battles to come? Will Thete ever understand the secrets of herself? And with so much at stake, will there be room for their affections for each other to flourish?

Summary
'“Hey Yaz!” Aly calls again. Yaz blinks, looking towards where the other woman is stood across from her, water climbing up her calves. “Look at this!”
Yaz shivers.
“Aly,” she murmurs, low in her throat. She can barely get the name out, she can barely breathe. “Aly, wait-”'
----Plagued with memories of her life-long love's death, Yasmin Khan finds herself swept up in a war that she barely understands, on a side to which she holds no loyalty.
Falling into the clutches of the enemy, however, and the dark magic they possess, Yaz will be forced to fight to survive.
But the true battle begins when a familiar face suddenly reveals itself, and Yaz will have to question the love she has long held sacred.

But the nerves were very soon replaced by a knot in her lower belly, sort of like butterflies some might have called it, when Julian finally looked past the crowd surrounding her and her eyes locked with Yaz’s.
Green found brown and suddenly Yaz felt like everyone else was gone and it was just her and Julian in the studio.
That was a weird feeling. Yaz had never felt something like this about anyone, especially not someone she hadn’t even spoken to properly.

Yaz is travelling alone with the Doctor in the wake of everything they've been through. A familiar distress signal brings them to a walled city on the sea, where the inhabitants are much older than they seem...and the Doctor is in far more danger than she knows.

“Yaz… Do you think I could…” The Doctor started, removing her hands from her pockets and playing with the hem of her shirt, a clear sign that she was nervous about asking, even though it was not the first time they’d done this “Do you think I could watch it with you? Please?”
aka Yaz tricks the Doctor into watching a movie in bed with her, knowing it would make the alien get some much needed rest. But things don't exactly happen as she expected...

Oh. And she’s in love. Business as usual.
