A Festival of Love turns bloody in Baldur's Gate when the party finds a dead couple, slaughtered in cold blood after festivities. When Shadowheart and Lae'zel are the only two available to find the killer, they must go undercover to bring an end to the violence before another pair is murdered. Faking a relationship feels entertaining at first, but when Shadowheart and Lae'zel begin developing genuine feelings for one another, the case becomes increasingly complicated.

Summary
Castle Dimitrescu was known to the town folk as a place that symbolises death.
A cruel mistress and her three deranged daughters who employ virgin women from the village below the castle. Though none have ever survived longer than a few months at most.
They’re either killed upon entry, though this is rare it has been known to happen, or they’re killed whilst they work. Then they are barrelled and turned into wine. Usually, they are used in the wine Sanguis Virginis, the Lady’s personal vintage after they’ve been strung up, disembowelled and tortured for days or weeks.

Magdalena is a sarcastic middle aged woman who gets bored and decides she wants to work at the castle. The Lady is both intrigued and (mildly) annoyed, Bela is impressed, Cassandra is hesitant and Daniela is a menace to society (as per usual).
