Jayce blinks. “What?”
“It is overgrown. You look like a poorly maintained garden.”
“Are you calling me a shrub?”
“It is not the worst thing," Viktor teases, wry. Then his smirk fades into something more thoughtful. “You have … changed, yes. You are rougher around the edges now. You look—” He hesitates, words faltering before settling on, “—like you have lived.”
And Jayce wonders how much longer he’ll be able to hold himself back.

But it's more dramatic and dragged out because I love to see them miserable and suffer and I need Jayce to realise his feelings and notice what a fool he has been. Instead of just watching as his "partner" walks away from their shared Hextech dream.

Summary
Viktor, quietly, in the background lowered his shoulders and raised his head slightly as he realized who Caitlyn was speaking of. He was still facing away from them but he could hear their entire conversation echo in the big chamber. Jayce looked at Viktor as Caitlyn grinned, keeping that playful gaze on him, knowing all too well how deep their seemingly platonic lab partner relationship went; or at least, how deep Jayce wanted it to be.

Caitlyn knows exactly how Jayce feels about Viktor and has for a while, so, as a gift, she forces the boys to take a much-needed vacation to destress after working so hard on Hextech for the past few years, but her plan to get the two together goes far better than any of them could have hoped.Bookmarked by Vix_10Guy
