Summary
Sean's beginning to think he should try out this having-a-near-death-experience thing. It's only been a few days since they burned down Tawi's house, but Black is near sparkling. Sure, these days he's skittish and his fighting skills have taken a turn for the worst, but still. There’s something about him these days. Sometimes the light hits him a certain way. His eyes glow amber, a tiny grin overtakes his face, and–against all his better judgement–Sean finds himself utterly stricken.
Meanwhile, White is doing his level-best to keep his identity under wraps, but it's becoming more impossible by the day. His impersonation of the man he hasn't seen yet has yearned for all these years is shaky at best, and at its worst, it’s a painful reminder. But Black is struggling for his life, so White will be damned if he doesn't hold up his end of things.
Or, White keeps collapsing out of nowhere and clutching his chest. The team gets entirely the wrong idea.
