Summary
This is a personal pet project of mine, where I wanted to challenge myself into writing small ficlets. My current style is to write long one-shots, and I wanted to know if I had the discipline to keep to a maximum word count.
The rules are simple – write a DekuMight story or scene, but the word count had to be over 1K, but under 2K.
Not going to lie, it was hard. I know I broke the maximum word count a few times – but there was only so much editing I could do.

Chan's eyes are glittering as he looks across the table at Felix, almost unreadable if Felix didn't know him so well. Felix knows Chan better than he knows anyone, and he knows Chan wants this as well. Chan wants a family with him, he wants to care for Felix and their children.
“Lots?” Chan laughs gently, clear and sweet like a church bell. “How many? Three? Four?”
“However many I'm blessed with,” Felix says. However many you'll give me, Felix thinks wildly. How many children do you want us to have? How many babies do you want to put in me? “I want children, Chris.”
