Summary
There is no point in the future if his family is gone.
This is the mantra of a demon who hoards everything like a precious treasure. His Family was no exception and in a way was his more cherished treasure of all.
So he will preserve it. He will contain it and keep Yoichi safe from the very world that wished for them to die. Even if he must become a monster to do so, even if he must break his brother to keep him at his side.
Because he's the only reason he can stay as himself and is too selfish to let him go...
