  2. Summary

Post-canon series meant to explore BingQiu's (later MoShang's) relationships. Generally full of fluff, but does dive deep into angst territory at times. Special appearances from Bingge, who has his own (mis)adventures in transmigration in the 3rd work in this series.

    Summary

People would find out immediately, he realised. And oh, if they found out what he did, how Liu Qingge lived only because of him, they would laud him for it - then they would keep him in a cocoon for the rest of his short life. He wouldn’t be able to ascend with the others anymore, wouldn’t be able to go on missions or use Xiu Ya any better than a mortal could.

He could no longer practice inedia, or hell, even keep up with his disciples who already had half-formed golden cores. Who would listen to him now, who would respect him now? What good was a strategist who couldn’t keep up with the men he ordered around? What good was a teacher who couldn’t demonstrate anything he taught to his students?

What good was a cultivator who couldn’t fucking cultivate?

Shen Qingqiu manages to save Liu Qingge's life in the Lingxi Caves at the expense of his own cultivation and immortality. Now condemned to a short, brutish life as a mortal again, Shen Jiu chooses to leave it all behind and eke out a small living while he can, aware that death could be at his door any day now.

After all, what else does he have to live for?

    Summary

In PIDW, there was a certain legendary cup which when used to make tea with even a single thread of another’s hair or a drop of their blood switches bodies with the person who drank it. It turns out… if you don’t use it appropriately it’ll either not work at all because it has no target, or will swap you with your soul mate.

Too bad Luo Binghe had no idea about that. He was just going to drink tea and somehow he found himself in Shen Qingqiu’s body, staring at his own sword mound. Oh and what the absolute hell is the ringing in his ear?

    Summary

“Shen-shixiong, you were the only other person in the cave that day. I’ve checked the records thoroughly and no disciples recall seeing anyone else passing through. Your symptoms of morning sickness, hunger, and mood swings started approximately a week ago.”

Shen Qingqiu blanched and he grasped the sheets tightly, wrinkling the fabric. The room suddenly felt too hot, too small and cramped.

“What are you saying?” He asked hoarsely.

“Congratulations Shen-shixiong, you are eight weeks pregnant.”

TLDR: Dual cultivation is the cure-all for all ailments and Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu deal with the fallout

    Summary

“I am so sorry.” He starts, bringing his free hand to his forehead as he stares down at the tiles on the ground between him and the stranger he’d almost carelessly knocked over. “I don’t know what’s come over me, and—”

He freezes. Those boots… Look strangely familiar. He slowly tilts his head up, pulling his hand away from his face and finally taking a good look at the person across from him.

As if this day couldn’t get any worse.

“It’s alright.” Says the acting Grand Sage, Alhaitham, who Kaveh has not spoken to in probably four or five years.

    Shit.

Kaveh is about a week from homelessness, and desperate for money.

Haitham has an abundance of it, and a project he wants Kaveh to oversee as his live-in architect.

Perhaps the both of them can get something out of this arrangement besides an exchange of goods and services, and restore trust in a bond badly broken years ago.

    Summary

    Alhaitham.
I won’t say my dear, my dearest or my love, or any other sweet names you don’t deserve. You never call me those anyway. But it doesn’t matter.

Because this is goodbye. You won't see me for a while.

The newly reinstated Scribe- not Acting Grand Sage anymore- with the biggest salary any Scribe has ever gained- finally free from all the pompous titles saving a nation bestow upon you- Alhaitham, just freshly clocked-out for the day, already has enough of this bullshit.

He might have neglected Kaveh for a bit. True. But who could judge him? Do you know how many books he missed out on while being the Acting Grand Sage?

Anyway, from the unprecedented dramatics in this one greeting and first four sentences of a five-page letter, he hopes not all of Sumeru is involved in their lover’s spat.
