It’s honestly one of humanity’s most admirable attributes.”
“Then why are you trying to kill them all?” Holden had meant it to sound more like he was just playing devil’s advocate in a friendly conversation, but the anger that crept into his voice was pointed and accusatory. He regretted it immediately.

Things change when a hook-up-gone-wrong gets him lumped on night duty for an entire month, and to make matters worse, he’s been lumped on night duty with a brand new intern. As with all interns, Doctor Castiel Novak is cocky at best and dangerous at worst, but for some reason, and maybe it’s just the way his ass looks in those teal scrubs, Dean’s got a soft spot for the guy. Or a really hard one. Either way, it doesn’t take long for Dean’s new roster to become the least of his concerns; he wants that dorky doctor guy, and fuck, he wants him for real.
