Summary
After a few years of living together in New York Alex and Henry's lives are going great, but Queen Mary is an ever looming shadow. When she summons Henry back to England for apology tour for a comment he makes on a podcast, Henry and Alex realize something needs to change. Before they can make that change, though, Henry's plane home from the apology tour crashes in the Canadian wilderness, killing all on board.
Or so Alex is lead to believe. Trapped in his grief, he flees back home to Texas to try and start over. And over. And over. He finally settles in a small town at a small lawfirm, but it isn't until he joins the local volunteer fire department that his life starts to finally turn back around.
Only Henry isn't dead. In an attempt to both smother his "corrupting influence" but still protect the line of succession until Philip has kids, Mary has had him squirreled away deep in the Australian outback.
And, well, it's amazing how often the outback burns, isn't it? Sometimes, it burns so bad, they need help from international firefighters...

The man licked his lips and smiled dangerously, finally looking Buck straight in the eyes.

The smooth and relaxed tone of his voice turned into a lazy purr and Buck felt his knees refusing to keep him upright any longer, while the predatory glint in the man's eyes held him in place, sending a shiver down his spine. Despite being locked in a cell, literally chained, the man's entire demeanor conveyed that this was his territory, that he was in control of this moment... not because he was free to do as he pleased but because he was dangerous enough to be kept in a cage. Summary
Eddie knows he handled it badly, he knows that. He thought he knew Buck, all about Buck, what makes him tick, his insecurities, his need for praise, his many, many interests. But he never knew – never had an inkling that Buck would be into men. At all.
His best friend assaulted him, because he wanted him out of the way, because Eddie was cockblocking Buck's path to happiness.

Summary
Casual sex or friends with benefits were things Buck hadn’t done in years. But after yet another unsuccessful relationship, coupled with the pain from seeing Eddie pretty happy with Marisol — forcing him to bitterly admit he never moved on from his best friend — Buck was more than glad to say yes to Tommy’s suggestion.
Why not? It’s not like he had a chance with Eddie and he wanted to feel not alone. He wanted to try to move on again. At least in sex. And oh how he missed sex. After Natalia he was once again left to jerk off. It does the job, but it’s never the same as the feeling of another body with you.
He missed the feeling of being so close to another person, vulnerable and open. And he trusted Tommy enough to make it work.
or, Buck decides to be friends with benefits with Tommy when he thinks he has no chances with Eddie, but is that really true?
