Summary
Hermione, after finishing her last year at Hogwarts, is asked to join the Department of Mysteries to recoup their lost time-turners that were casualties in the war. Hermione jumped at the opportunity to learn how they create time-turners and agreed immediately. But when the time-turner she is testing 'malfunctions', it tosses her through time before breaking, stranding her in the past. Now she has to get home with no idea what happened to get her sent back in the first place.

The moment those words left his mouth, there was a sharp crack. The room fell into a stunned silence, all eyes on Falin. Marcille’s heart skipped a beat as she realized that Falin’s grip had tightened to the point where a piece of the table had splintered off in her hand.
