Геральт коснулся плеча, проверяя бинты под гамбезоном: хм, перевязано неплохо. Заметив движение, Ронвид встал и, прихрамывая на правую ногу, подошел, сел рядом. Лицо было бледным и серьезным, уголки губ опущены. Потрогав плечо и понаблюдав за его реакцией, Ронвид протянул Геральту кожаную флягу и придерживал за затылок, пока он пил. Затем подложил под голову свернутую рубашку (тоже чужую?) и заправил за ухо упавшую на лоб прядь. Все это без единого слова.

He could keep the notes across his desk as company or tuck them away somewhere safe, but there’s no new discovery to be made between the lines. Jayce’s input, his phantom partner, is…at its end.
Viktor massages the bridge of his nose to stop a brewing headache and the sting behind his eyes.
How strange to grieve a long dead man.
____Jayce finally arrives to Ekko and Heimerdinger's alternate stream. Except, in this world, Jayce is dead and he finds Viktor has continued his research in solitude.
