Summary
Hounlin didn’t know what it felt like to be loved.
They knew the reticent disinterest of their father. They knew the frigid dissatisfaction of their mother. They knew the pride of their aunt, the resentment of their sister, the fear of an adversary with a blade at their throat and the panic of a victim before a monster- but nothing of love.
Hounlin did know reverence. They knew what it was to fall to your knees in devotion, to venerate what you could not entirely comprehend. They felt it within themself at the foot of the altar, aching and awestruck, and they saw it in Astarion every time he kneeled by their bedroll.

Frequent Updates! Werewolf & Vampire Slowburn(ish) Angst! Not A/B/O!A turbulent romance between Astarion & Hounlin, a cursed werewolf tav. Hounlin is nonbinary (afab) and a drow druid.
A retelling of game events, but with a lot of original dialogue and scenes. I try very hard to stick to 5e lore!
Act 1 has some enemies to lovers. Lots of bickering. Fighting = flirting. Monster-spawn angst. A bit of religious trauma, as a treat. Will they make each other better or worse? Stick around and find out!

Summary
After Gale accused Astarion of cheating at cards, the rogue picked up an interest in learning lanceboard to challenge the wizard at his game of preference. To sweeten the deal and make things more interesting, the two have agreed that the victor wins a favor from the loser.
The quiet, slow deliberateness made in each move by Gale was gone now. Astarion had fallen into the wizard's trap and he was starting to see there would be no way out of it. All of the vampire's moves would be made out of a desperate clumsy attempt to protect his king and prolong its downfall. "Razor's Edge to queen's bishop two."
He continued his oration as he reached over, an index finger resting on a pawn. "Because sometimes, that small victory is enough to give them the momentum to keep going forward. The resolve of man to survive against all odds – fascinating, wouldn't you agree?" He moved the pawn diagonal, replacing Astarion's pawn with his own, inching ever so closer to the black side of the board. Once more, his bishop had a clear shot to his Cyric. "Pawn to queen's knight seven. Check."

Summary
I decided to combine the prompts of ‘5 times they almost kissed’ with ‘there was only one bed’ to make ‘5 times there was only one bed’. Sounded like a fun challenge to give myself for a short fic.
Watch each time as Gale and Astarion both learn what it means to share space, and more than that, slowly.

Summary
“So-“ She began to speak after a brief silence.
“If you drink a sentient being’s blood-“
“I’ll know for sure that I can deliberately disobey the rules I was forced to abide by.” I interrupted.
She looked at the ground and quietly spoke to herself. She wasn’t actually considering letting me drink from her, was she?
“May I ask you something?” She looked back up at me, eyes wide like a doll’s.
“I don’t see why not.”
“Why me?” She asked, the look of uneasiness returning to her face.
Why her?
I couldn’t simply tell her that my mind ran wild like a beast’s. That the way she laid there so helplessly and serene called to me like a siren song. That I needed to taste her. More than I needed anything else at this moment. She’d think me a monster.
But then again, maybe she’d be right.
