Summary
Born the unwanted and unneccesary spare in the 'heir and a spare' equation and an omega, Peter Hale's life was destined to be that of a court decoration, useful for nothing except decorating his alpha lord's arm and producing heirs. When his betrothed died right before their wedding, the then fifteen year old Peter was left largely to his own devices, considered unlucky to add to the rest.
Peter being Peter, he made the most of it. Now, nearly two decades later, he's a decorated soldier, leader of an elite combat team, a scholar, and an advisor on his sister's, the Queen's, counsel.
But as their queendom enters it's fifth year of a long, drawn out war, their people are displaced and hungry, and they're backed into a tight spot, in need of strong allies and aid. Their neighboring kingdom is the aid they need, and the heir to the throne is a young, unwed alpha- and there's only one unwed omega in the royal line left. Peter is once again engaged. He supposes he'll just have to make the most of it, once more.

Summary
The Alpha Pack was sent by the Magic Council to evaluate the Hale Pack and they had helped them out with the Darach. During their stay in Beacon Hills, Marin became Stiles' mentor and Stiles may have developed kind of a crush on Deucalion. But Stiles hasn't seen them since then.
Five years later, Stiles also works for the Magic Council and runs into them at the annual convention. The hotel is overbooked though and Stiles finds himself without a room. Until Deucalion offers to share his room.

He wasn’t surprised the first time he brought his shift forwards in front of a mirror and his eyes glowed red. He’d killed an alpha, more than one really but only one since he’d been bitten. He’d kill more if it kept his home safe.
It wasn’t the rush of power he was expecting having watched Peter go mad with it and watched it flow into Derek suddenly.
It was more of a certainty. His duty was always to protect Beacon Hills and his pack, just now it was instinctual. A need.

Or, Stiles gets bitten cleaning up one of Scott's messes and sets about being the alpha Beacon Hills needs, accidentally falling for some unobtainable packmates on the way.

Summary

Until his best friend gets bitten by a werewolf and Stiles, in his research, learns that werewolves view omegas as precious. So he goes to a werewolf/human club to maybe meet a nice werewolf, still on suppressants because he doesn't want to be wanted just for being an omega.

Peter watches as the guards open the door and push the fighting and screaming boy in. The boy falls face first on the ground, the dust flying around him from the dirty floor. He jumps up from the ground, yelling at the guards to let him go.

Eyes burning bright blue, claws out, ready to attack whoever is in his bed. Peter scents the room, not smelling any danger. Only anxiousness and the sweet base scent of the pup.
“They are blue”, Comes a tiny voice of Stiles’, sounding reserved in the darkness of the room.
“What?” Peter asks, still half wolfed out, just in case.
“Your eyes. They are blue. Like mine”, Stiles whispers, flashing his own blue eyes at the older wolf.
