Summary
James is dating someone in secret, someone who happens to wear the same cologne as his best friend Sirius. So when it gets out in potions class that he can't smell the amortentia over Sirius' cologne... Well things get a little messy.
When the actual person of James' affections arrives at the table during an intense dinner, words had been exchanged, feelings had been hurt, and tensions were so high that James blurted out his confession without a second thought.
Suffice to say, NOBODY saw that one coming.

Summary
He's absolutely maddening. It happens every summer: this dance, this flirting that Remus has never quite managed to get to the bottom of. Either it's a complete wind-up and Sirius is even more of an entitled bully than Remus has always thought, or it's going to end with Remus letting Sirius bend him over the storage crates behind the catering tent one year. It's one or the other.
The boys spend a glorious long weekend together at Sirius's family estate in the height of summer.

"No, I'm sorry," breaks in Remus, shaking his head, taking another step back, moving away from the door. "I should have known. Harry said – "
"Harry," groans Sirius, his head tipping backwards over his shoulders, eyes rolling to the ceiling.
Andromeda turns, hiding a snicker. She catches sight of Harry peeking through the door and passes him a delightful grin.
Or: Harry has a happy life with Sirius, but his dad is lonely. Harry decides to find him a boyfriend.

Summary
The urge to roll his eyes whenever Sirius would interact with Marlene was beating down on him, which was insane because Marlene was Sirius’ girlfriend, so of course they were going to talk to one another.
Remus just didn’t think he could bear it having to watch them snog, their mouths moving together like they knew each other intimately, tongues peeking out every so often to lick up against one another.

Remus is in love with Sirius and is convinced that if he has to watch them kiss any longer then he's going to implode. It's a good thing Marlene has different plans for the evening.

Dorcas throws her head back and cackles loudly. “The only directions your ‘sweet and innocent little brother’ is interested in, is the fastest way to get into Sirius Black’s pants!”Marlene’s little brother has a thing for Sirius, because who doesn't have a thing for Sirius? Marlene is freaking out, and everyone thinks it's just hilarious. Remus would've thought it was hilarious too, had Marlene’s little brother not been very close in age, cute, witty, and oh so bloody charming.
