I was an Introvert, a gamer.
A disappointment to my Aunt and Uncle who'd taken me in after my parents passed away, but very good at what I liked doing. I was born on Earth, and I'd die with it as well- which, considering the condition it was in might very well be in my lifetime for all I knew.
Cue mass confusion when 2 government officials come knocking on my door, offering me a trip to the fantastical Pandora-
Me.
A normal, everyday citizen.Not a scientist, not military, nothing special- turns out my old friend was offered a trip to Pandora as well, but refused to go without me.

Summary
The last thing I remember was my parents tossing me onto a cruise ship under the pretence of it being a vacation- a fat load of bullshit that was- and the next thing I knew, I was shipwrecked on an island at LEAST as large as Hawaii
But I'm nowhere near any landmarks that I can recognize, and I keep hearing sounds coming from the jungle, and huge shapes passing in the shadows...
At least I watched plenty of survival shows as a kid, so I should be fine- wait, is that a fucking skeleton?!

Summary
One day, I was living a normal life. Then, Monsters appeared in the world and everything changed.
Humans that were descendants of the original 7 Mages became what is known as a Hybrid- apparently, our dormant magic was so potent that we were 'gifted' the ability to shift into monsters ourselves.
Oh, and we also had Monster Ancestors apparently as well.Not everybody is accepting of Hybrids though- but my life's difficult enough while keeping that a Secret from my housemates, who seem to hate me just for being Human...
