    “Well!” he exclaimed, deciding to hop right into it. “Welcome to the hybrid club, sweetheart. Xisuma’s on his way to confirm, and hopefully tell us what you’re actually a hybrid of, but yeah!”

    He was met with silence.

    Well, Bdubs wasn’t one to be deterred. Chalking the lack of response up to confusion, he continued, “Don’t worry, I know it’s a lot. But I’ve been there! I’ll help you; we can work through all these new challenges together. Guess this really is gonna explain some of those code quirks of yours, huh?”

    Etho still didn’t respond, so Bdubs stopped, struck with the realization that his babbling likely wasn’t helping.

    The silence sat between them for nearly a minute, before Etho’s cracking voice, properly distraught, rasped out, “This is permanent?”

    Or, a journey of acceptance as Etho comes to terms with his new hybrid status and traits, with Bdubs’s help, who’s gone through it himself in the past.

    Etho's mechanical eye starts to glitch out from his deaths during 3rd Life. He fully intends on looking into it right away, but a new season of Hermitcraft starts. There's no time to look into fixing the eye, even if it's the cause of migraines. He can just push through it.
    Unfortunately, procrastination does have its issues, when suddenly he's on a server where he's sharing pain with another person, and these headaches aren't only his problem.
