Summary
Star's search for her missing mother has borne little to no result, and the girl grows desperate enough to take a harsh decision in an attempt to find a way to see her again. Now alone in a version of Mewni that feels both familiar and unfamiliar, Star is surrounded by people who do not recognize her and yet carry the faces of both her friends and her enemies. Despite the dangers that fill this world and the adverse odds, she eventually decides to try and fix what went wrong in the new universe.
And everything starts from the person who should have been her mother.

Summary
Anne believed that things in Wartwood would stay relatively calm for a while, after the fateful visit from the tax collectors of Toad Tower. However, her predictions are proved wrong when a travelling merchant arrives in town, bringing with him hard-to-believe news that turn her already disrupted world upside-down yet again.
The chance of a new lead proves impossible to ignore, and she convinces the Plantars to go with her to investigate the rumour, leading to an encounter with a stranger whose presence in Amphibia is as much of an oddity as Anne’s. Perhaps, there is something to be gained, and learned, from the meeting with the so-called ‘kid with the hat’ for all parties involved.

Summary
Tired of being nose-deep in work after the world nearly ending, Hat Kid decided it was time for a vacation, dragging her shipmate, Cloak Kid, with her. With a crew of white clumsy seals, and a grumpy walrus at the helm, they go on a cruise into the arctic. However, Hat Kid's plans for rest and relaxation are put on hold after finding some anomalies of the Time Piece variety.

A Hat in Time.Part 2 of a series. Continues the story after 'A Cloak in Time's Trials' by covering the first A Hat in Time DLC, following a similar premise as the original story - reinterpreting the plot in a newer way and featuring an OC as a main character alongside Hat Kid.
A good follow-up sharing the same strong points seen in story 1.

Adam hated the Butterfly Family long before he ever met them.
He knew of the Family's penchant for tyranny, cruelty and megalomania. He knew how they brutally enslaved, tortured or executed all who opposed them. The Butterflies are unstoppable and absolute - their dark shadow stretching across almost every dimension in the multiverse.
A lowly Mewman commoner, Adam was never particularly remarkable. He couldn't do much other than fight for his survival. But when he acquires magical powers from a mysterious wand fragment, he sets out on a mission to put an end to the Butterfly rule.
Permanently.
Until he winds up thrown through a portal into another multiverse. Now, he's trapped there, surrounded by ghosts.
Unbeknownst to him, though, his world is catching up to him. The Dark Butterflies are coming, bringing a whole multiverse of slaughter with them. Whether he likes it or not, Adam is going to have to protect the kingdom he hated most.

Star vs the Forces of the Negative Multiverse by Akrolyd.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil.This story is a longfic epic that covers an original premise set within Season 3 of the show: while certain events from the show happen in the background either as they are or revised, the story itself is almost entirely its own thing and tells an independent story focusing on a new original character, Adam, a common folk mewman man and survivor from a universe opposite from the one of the show who gains access to magic and is transported into said Positive Multiverse after certain events. The story covers his long, slow development as a character as well as the development of the relationships between him and other characters, with a lot of space also given to a lot of major and minor characters from the show - Star Butterfly herself being essentially a co-protagonist alongside Adam - while Adam continues to work towards his goal to return to his original universe and achieve his long-desired revenge.
Simply put, one of my favourite fics ever.
