    It was 5 months on the outside. While it was an eternity inside the darkness for you.

    You strove to keep your memories of your life, strove to keep the last bit of hope from being smothered by the darkness and despair that seemed to infect everything in this infinite darkness.

    You survived even the most lackluster of odds- raged against the creatures of myth and legend, trapped the dark like you... until you lost your soulmate.

    Then... you lost yourself in the dark.

    Now... an eternity later, you are free of the darkness.

    But...

    You don't remember who you are, or who you are supposed to be.

    You know that magic thrives as a living, breathing part of you. You know that you have an animalistic side to yourself that allows you to shapeshift into a creature of nightmares. But ever since you died in the darkness and came out into the light, you crave blood.

    The word 'Tribrid'... echoes in your mind.

    The only things that you know for sure is that you have numerous scars (whose memories and adversaries you recount with pride). And have three words etched into your collarbone that echoes in your mind when you brush your fingers upon them.
