Summary
Laughter used to fill the manor on hillcrest. It chimed in waves, clear and bright, like ripples on the nearby crystal lake. The manor had been in the Zoisite family for ages located near a port town tucked inside a winding river. It was hardly used despite being neatly kept, though the ivy had been left to its own devices on the manor walls.
That was, until the newly wedded Lord and Lady Zoisite arrived.

Summary
Now stuck in a monolith of a room hidden behind carved heavy doors in a section of the palace Serenity struggled to place, she pushed her silvery locks behind her and took a step forward. Dust billowed like a cloud at the hem of her skirts. Her eyes squinted as she moved, hazy blackness giving way until her pale eyes opened wide at the sight of a towering stone structure built into the back wall. The white stone was starting to crumble, the surface that was likely polished to a shine in its youth pocketed and cracked. Still intact, though, was the arch of the structure reaching from floor to ceiling in a perfect circle.
Serenity tilted her head; how curious of a structure and how curious for it to be here in a place she was certain really should not exist, and yet.
