Summary
Mono dives into the screen to grab Six’s hands, ignoring the way her fingers crowd and bend his. He doesn’t dare readjust his grip when he can barely feel Six beneath the ants and rats biting his skin, as static crawls up his arms, reaches his jaw, makes spots dance in his vision.
He places his feet against the television, to give himself traction as he pulls, desperation and fear stretching seconds into hours.
In another place, in another time, Mono is a tad too slow, a pinch too tired; the Thin Man grabs Six’s waist and takes her before they even stand a chance to run, just as he always has.
But here, Six tumbles out of the television. The loop doesn’t reset, the world stutters at the sight of its pieces falling in a way that’s irrevocably wrong, and Mono, unaware he’s dodged fate, hauls Six up and drags her to another television, where they fall through the gaps left by everything that should have come afterward.
Or
Batman finds two children with too many scars, who are convinced monsters are after them.

Summary
The obnoxious questions were also his new normal since coming to live with Bruce, along with the staring and whispers. The upside was that they were repeated enough that he had scripted answers for pretty much everything, no matter how inane or invasive it was.
“Just…” Tim started slowly and then finished his question in a breathless, excited rush. “You know Dick Grayson, right?”

In which Jason Todd meets Tim Drake, who is inexplicably Dick Grayson's #1 Fan, and decides the only reasonable course of action is to plot to get the two of them to meet and see what happens. It definitely won't have a major impact on his life or anything.

Summary
Khalid Nassour's work as an orderly in Arkham Asylum is the stuff of nightmares. The pay's bad, his coworkers are corrupt, and the patients are as bad as can be.
But nothing is quite as bad as the fact that the Joker's keeping the second Robin captive in the basement, and Khalid's found himself in the terrible position of being expected to keep that secret.
With both of their lives on the line, Khalid enacts a daring—and stupid—plan: smuggle the second Robin out of Arkham, nurse him back to health, and hopefully don't get killed by the Joker.
Easier said than done.

Summary
Batman is the embodiment of vengeance, crafted out of living shadows and the hearts of the unavenged. The world's greatest detective, creepiest cryptid, and all-round Scary Guy, there's nothing he can't handle. At least, not until nine-year-old Dick Grayson shows up and Batman has to figure out how to be a dad.
Armed with a new civilian identity, the deceased Wayne family's fortune, and an all-powerful butler cryptid just as confused with humanity as he is, Batman (now Bruce) is ready to take the world by storm... He probably should've gotten some more outside sources to base his civilian personality on, though. Listening to Dick was all well and good, but nobody was quite ready for Brucie Wayne.
