    “Honey,” Goose said, gently raking Mav’s still slightly damp hair off of his forehead. Mav’s green eyes cracked open, peering up at him through the body-wracking tremors with a question in his eyes. “It’s gonna be okay, Mav.” Mav gave a jerk of movement that resembled a nod before returning to the violent shaking he just couldn’t come out of.
