Friends make friends stuff all the time, and Jayce did break Viktor's cane. It'd be a nice thing to do. A cane, plus some cool tools, and Jayce will be able to know he's a good friend. He likes this plan.

Buck sat opposite him, looking at him with that goddamn look that made Eddie want to fucking cry. This had been a constant situation for the past week and a half.
Eddie and Buck in Eddie’s kitchen, beer and expression.Buck had been here since Chris had left. Sure, he’d gone home a couple of times to get things, and they’d gone in to work, and Buck had even had a date with Tommy one evening and came back to Eddie’s house at three in the morning smelling like Tommy’s bodywash. A horrible spicy smelling thing.
But over all, Buck had been here. With Eddie. When he wasn’t physically with Eddie, he was texting, checking in. Leaving sandwiches in the fridge, meals in the oven, laundry folded on Eddie’s bed.Eddie falls apart, refuses to be put back together, and then goes and loses his memory and falls apart in a different way while Buck does his best to put him back together again.
