Harry was now a blubbering mess. He fucked up.
He knew he fucked up.

It hadn't even been an hour since they made up and Harry fucked it all up. Again.

Louis keeps his face neutral despite the obvious confusion he feels at that moment. The rational part of his brain fires off reasons; maybe Harry broke his phone and hasn’t got a new one.
“That’s okay. Do you want to hang out somewhere? Maybe we could get lunch together?”
“I’m sorry,” Harry bites his lip, voice shaky, “I don’t think I’ll be able to.”
Hurt blossoms in Louis’ chest bright and wide across his ribcage. This conversation has already gone to shit. Naturally, he gives into his usual way of trying to salvage painfully awkward conversations - with jokes.
“This is either very one-sided or you live here at the laundromat.”
OR
But Harry’s a ghost that’s been stuck in a laundromat for 70 years.
And Louis is so in love that he can’t imagine being without him.
