And he couldn’t help but wonder if Bruce felt the same, watching Jason’s receding figure with a dismayed frown as the older boy grappled away from Batman and Robin.Tim Drake is Robin or he was until Jason came back with an 8 year old Damian in tow, set up shop in Crime Alley and shunned the Bats.
Tim's mom is dead. His Dad's in a coma. Jason hates his guts. And now Damian's running around in a mini Robin suit.
Life can't get any better until suddenly Tim finds himself in an alternate dimension were he never existed and yet somehow the Bats still end up hating him.

But when the scatterbrained annoying little speedster flakes on one of their “bonding” excursions to nurse an injured Red Robin, Wally begins to realise that Timothy Drake may need him just as much.

Tim is annoyed that he is stuck in his 14 year old body (hopefully temporarily) and that the only armour that fits him now is his old Robin suit. But, hey, at least he has his spleen again.
Dick is drowning. Robin Tim is the reminder of everything he ruined, everything he’s lost.
Bruce feels guilty. For making Tim suffer as Robin. For making Tim suffer for not being Robin. For missing Tim’s Robin. And for not preventing him from dumping a can of Zetsi into his over caffeinated coffee.
Damian is…furious at the usurper. But when isn’t he?
Jason is just vibing.

His father "died" a hero. Bruce Wayne... Batman... made the ultimate sacrifice in the battle against Darkseid during one of the worst Crisis that had been experienced in recent times.
Tim Drake knew this. Logically, he knew that his adopted father did what he had to do to save the world and protect his family...
However...
That knowledge did not negate the fact that this was the second "father" he'd lost in as many years...
The third parent...
The sixth person he loved...
All gone before the age of seventeen.
And now... As he stormed away from the Cave where the child that tried to murder him was now wearing his colors... his mantle... his identity...
His last tangible ties to his dead father...
A part of him wanted to go into the Manor and pick a random room to just rip to pieces in a fit of rage and frustration.
But he didn't.
Instead, as he entered his room and made a move to knock over a shelf of books and photos, one picture in particular caught his eye.
The last happy photo he had of his father and him... with his stepmother.
(What if Dana Winters never died/disappeared after the bombing of Bludhaven?)
