Summary
The days of Sora goofing off with his friends were coming to an end. They'd drift apart as he faded to darkness, but the reality was worse. Sora grew closer to Kairi, forging an unbreakable bond when they shared a paopu fruit. But it cost him his mom, his friends, his whole world. As luck would have it, he made new allies to help him on his journey to find his friends and save the worlds, but what about him? Could anyone save Sora?
Knowledge of the Kingdom Hearts series is recommended, but not required. This is a novelization and Re:Imagining of the original Kingdom Hearts, taking inspiration from the rest of the series, and focused on character development and immersion over fast-paced plot beats. Final Fantasy characters play a larger role than in canon, especially Aerith, Tifa, and Selphie.
