Part 1 - Devoir (2020)
Camilla is navigating the fall out with Harry and Megan leaving the royal family when COVID hits. Set mostly in the period of isolation when the entire world went into lockdown, this part looks at her life then with flashbacks of related memories from the years 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 & 2010. The theme is duty but looks at beginnings of different stages of her life in those years. We see her meet Charles for the first time, enthralled in the middle of her affair with him and then looking at the change from Mistress to Wife and what that meant for her. Through it all, we see the relationship between the two of them grow and change as the years go by.

Set before the late Queen died, probably about 2019, this was written after reading Tom Bower’s ‘A Rebel Prince’. The “pampered, petulant, self-pitying Prince” Charles he wrote was so awful, no one could love him, but we know Camilla does so this looks from her perspective at one generic event like described in the book.
