Summary
There is a plain of cerulean above this fortress, but until recently no one has ever seen that sky or stars for over a century in this New Era ever since the 'Angel of Death' came for humanity, dwindling the numbers of over eight billion people to a dismal seven million. The surviving numbers of man took down their borders and built Fortress Elysian and holed themselves in the safe walls, getting rid of anyone who showed the viral symptoms of the Angel's touch. They kept building up with the help of advanced technology, constructing a paradise. There are three levels of Paradise City. They call these layers the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary. These three cities are powered by a major furnace from the ground's geothermic core called the Hearth, an artificial sun. The lower down you go, from Primary to Tertiary, the dirtier the conditions get and the dimmer the light from the Hearth is. Perhaps that does not matter to the people unaffected. May the sick be damned.

It sounds simple enough: fix it, and you'll earn your freedom. Unfortunately, you like to make things more complicated than it needs to be.
That's...probably why you ended up in prison in the first place.Bookmarked by Tinyfrogcafe
