When an experiment goes wrong, Amity becomes trapped in the human realm. Without Luz. If she is to survive in this strange world, she has to rely on a disturbingly familiar individual and avoid getting caught in their conspiracy. Meanwhile, Luz turns to increasingly desperate measures to bring Amity home.Act 2 (chapters 23 - 50) complete!
With communication established, Luz and friends seek a way to bridge the realms. But with secrets and drama on every side, whom can they trust?Act 3 (chapters 51 - ?) pending...
Failure and frustration forces Luz to consider more extreme options to save Amity. What does the simulacrum know? How far will her maker go to protect his secrets? -

Summary
The Oracle crystal ball was the first thing Luz saw as she woke up. Warm sunlight illuminated the small orb, reflecting lazily off its smudged glass. ‘Property of Hexside’ was stamped on the base in black ink. Just another detail the human had overlooked the night before. Slowly her memories of yesterday came back as she stared at the little crystal ball.
She opened her window and chucked it out as hard as she could.

>>> The first thing Powder registered the smell. It penetrated her nose with a decided wrongness. She opened her eyes, and met Ekko's familiar dark brown ones. Powder breathed a sigh of relief. Ekko was there. It must be alright then.
But as her eyes refocused on his whole face, her oh so familiar Ekko changed. His eyes were hardened, more like the Ekko of the past day, not the one she knew since she was a small child. A white tattoo of an hourglass marked his nose and forehead. His hairstyle was different, and his clothes were old and torn.
"This isn't right", he said. "You can't be here."
Powder slowly sat up and looked around.
"Where am I?" she asked.
"You are in the Undercity, Powder. In a different timeline." <<<Powder (of the different timeline) accidentally gets transported into the main story. Now suddenly there's two of her and everything is so much worse. Can she change this story? Can she find her way back to her own timeline? Does she even want to?

Now, Powder needs to help thousands of alternate Zaunite and Piltoveran citizens get back home– but some will prove to be harder to let go of than others.
