[PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS 'CREATURE OF WINTER']Death thought that he had managed to avert the crisis rather well, all things considered. Harry Potter was dead, sure, but the boy's lack of a beating heart was hardly that much of a issue in the greater scheme of things. Really, it was Death's opinion that his master had been improved upon in death, now that he was without pesky things like a heartbeat or blood.
Though, it certainly brought in a great deal of questions regarding the boy's mortality when he got up every morning to eat breakfast.

Summary
“I am the last Lector. I am my people’s very last hope,” Harry bites out through the teeth of his fury. He is done throwing curses and spells. He is reduced to this, divine rage.
And then, Voldemort is there, looming and dark and great and terrible. “And I will stamp it out.”
“You violate the laws of nature every day. You wage holy war to rid my name, and yet, you dream of me. Why? Would you like me to tell you?” Harry rasps because he knows this man. He knows his bones, his blood, his marrow, his name. “You want to make a tragedy of me. Your tragedy. But I am not the End.”
For a moment, Voldemort is no longer the Dark Lord, looming bright in the middle of a war. He is not the Great Heretic, bastardizing every one of Harry’s beliefs. He is just a man, as he is in his most private moments. He knows all the things Harry does. He knows fear like Harry does not.
“Then, why,” does a man ask, “do I see Death every time I look at you?”
