“Do I now?” Steve says with a smirk as he tilts his head back to blow a truly impressive chain of smoke rings into the early evening air. “You got that from our 15 minute interaction back there, did ya?”
Eddie shrugs, winking through his own cloud of smoke as he exhales. “What can I say, Steve? I spend my days interacting with people and jabbing them with needles, so I enjoy the occasional study of the human condition I guess.”

“Alright then. Fair enough,” he says as he takes a deep drag from his cigarette. “I did notice you studying me pretty heavily back there I suppose,” Steve says as he arches an eyebrow and leans against the door, nudging Eddie’s shoulder.
Eddie feels himself flush as he begins to stammer, embarrassed. “S-sorry? What do you mean?”

“Tell them you hold me as your paramour.” Astarion swept a finger across his lips and chin, licking away the remaining blood he had collected on the tip. He resisted the temptation to lean up and lick away the remains of his feast from Kieran’s flesh, his easy idea taking precedence as far more important to establish.
