Summary
After the battle at the Three Brothers rocks, the Sullys arrive at Awa'atlu to prepare for Neteyam's return to Eywa and to help the Metkayina recover from the catastrophic losses as a result of the hunt for Jake and his family.
Word had spread, however, about a human boy who had travelled with the Avatars and helped bring destruction to villages and Tulkun herds for months. When Spider returns with the Sullys, his decisions while he was held by the RDA come to consequences he wishes he didn't deserve.
He does deserve it, though. He knows this much. He doesn't understand many of the things that have happened to him, but he does know this. Why else would the Sullys leave him for so long?

Summary
This fic is the sequel to “The Price of Iridescent Wings”: There, Zishu wakes up alone and back in his rooms in Tian Chuang after he and Kexing attempted to practice the Combined Six Cultivation Method.
Not knowing what’s going on, he ventures outside and quickly realizes that this must be the past. Which, of course, is quite the shock. Zishu escapes the clutches of his cousin together with Han Ying and, wanting his zhiji back as well as wanting to learn what the hell just happened, he travels to Ghost Valley as fast as he can.
There, he tries to gain back the trust of a Valley Master who doesn’t seem to recognize him, yet is drawn to Zishu all the same.
In “Give Your Tears to the Tide”, Zishu and Kexing have to face a chaotic world that refuses to behave quite as predicted, and Zishu has to learn again that time travel has consequences.
Once more, time is not on their side as they try to counter fate and outrun death, but Zishu stays determined to save his ragtag family.
Kexing certainly won’t back down from the challenge, either: He’s hell-bent on surviving—not only for his A-Xu’s sake, but also to deal a certain Old Monster a beating that is long since overdue.Series
