Summary
Quirks aren't powerful. It's been one of the basic laws of the universe ever since they came into existence. Quirks are just small, insignificant vestiges of power that make cool party tricks or help around the house. That's how it's always been, and how it will always be.
Touya, a varsity football player, and Keigo, cheerleader extraordinaire at Musutafu High, are all-too-aware of this immutable fact. It's why it doesn't make sense to Touya that Keigo has wings, and why Keigo is confused about Touya's deathly-high body temperature. While everyone else in their world seems to view their curious orbit of one another as a classic high-school-sweethearts love story, the two of them can't shake the feeling that something is... off. Summary
Reki’s left arm was the arm he always braced with when he fell. It was the one that, by extension, got injured the most.
Maybe he’d been fooled by naivety, by the vague idea that he’d be fresh and able-bodied forever, but limbs weren’t meant to be sprained or fractured or broken as often as his left arm was. Each trip to the hospital, he was tempting fate more and more. Really, he should’ve seen it coming:
Nerve damage.
There was a constant, never-ending ache in his arm. A dull throbbing that he eventually learned was easy enough to ignore (except, of course, when it burned like the fucking sun and he couldn’t sleep and he just curled up in his bed wishing for anything to make it stop-). It was always there, but always ignorable. He was good at ignoring his problems.

Hawks' father wasn't there to save him when he was abused for the first eleven years of his childhood.
Dabi's father wasn't there to save him when he had to raise himself and his three siblings alone as a result of that same father's actions.
Now, the gods themselves need saving, and the only ones they can turn to are the very same children who they never once bothered to help.
Or: a case study on why you should maybe, perhaps, be a decent parent to your children, even if you're a god.

At this, his eyes meet Atsumu’s, and they’re filled with mirth. “Ya like my baby,” Atsumu accuses him instead.
Sakusa looks at Hikaru like Atsumu’s talking bullshit, but his eyes are curled at the edges in something that’s close to Suna’s face when Hikaru crawls into his lap. He pokes the adorable mole on Hikaru’s cheek and finds the audacity to say, “He’s tolerable.”
Or, the one in which Atsumu isn't Spiderman, but he's a single dad, and that's pretty much the same thing.

Atsumu figures out early on that he and Sakusa were just like that, two stars colliding headfirst into each other in an ever-expanding universe. He’s still waiting to see if they’re about to become better—or burn out in supernova together.

If you're looking for like, the most harrowing gripping fic ever then pass it by, but if you wanna have an absolute silly little blast for 50k words then this is perfect. Saito nods and taps a finger to her chin. “Ah, so, we’ve got Bokuto Koutarou, devoted to a life with an unnamed individual, Hinata Shoyo, who loves everyone but has his heart set on someone from his past, Sakusa Kiyoomi, who currently cares only for volleyball, and Miya Atsumu, adored by all but loved by none. How interesting! You definitely are a wild bunch of very different people when it comes to love!”
Atsumu’s breath hitches in his throat, and her comment kind of pisses him off, but he tries his best to smile and laugh it off. She says that like he’s unlovable, and ‘Sakusa Kiyoomi, who currently cares only for volleyball’? That seems pretty rude too, he thinks. It’s not like Sakusa’s heartless, even if he is all reserved and stuff.
He doesn’t really listen to much else of what she has to say after that, deciding that he doesn’t really like her that much, and balls his hands into fists in his pockets.

OCD gang rise up (fantastic representation). probably one of the most memorable and impactful fics I've ever read in my life. if you have some mental spice of any kind I think this is a love letter that will taste like a warm hug and genuinely impact you.
